Privacy
Short, because there is not much to say. This site has no accounts, no sign-in, and nothing that identifies you.
What stays in your browser
Your saved list is kept in this browser's local storage. It is never sent to us, so we could not show it to you on another device even if you asked. Clearing your site data clears it, and nobody else can read it.
This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Its fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so viewing a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
What we do record
When you click through to a shop, we record three things: which listing you clicked, when, and which of our own pages you clicked it from. That is the whole record. It carries no address, no session, no identifier and nothing that could be joined back to a person — two clicks by you and two clicks by two strangers are indistinguishable to us.
We keep it because it is the only way to know which shops and which listings are actually useful to people, which is what tells us where to spend our reading time next.
What our host sees
Like any web server, the machine serving these pages processes the ordinary information a browser sends in order to answer a request — your address, and what your browser says it is. We build nothing from it and do not combine it with anything above.
Shop prices
Everything we publish about a shop comes from pages that shop publishes openly. Our crawler is described on the crawler page, including how to ask it to slow down or stop.
Asking us anything
Write to techfinderlb@gmail.com. There is no personal data of yours for us to hand over or delete — clearing your browser's site data does the whole job — but if something here is unclear or wrong, we would rather hear it.
